Where This Board Actually Operates From
BISE Rawalpindi was established in 1977 under the Punjab Government and operates under the Higher Education Department's supervision. The board's main campus sits in Morgah, Rawalpindi, and that's where the formal result-day ceremony takes place each year, position holders get called up in person, receiving their prizes and scholarships directly rather than just having names published online.

Last Year's Numbers
The 10th class result 2025 came out on 24th July, with 119,293 students appearing out of 120,297 enrolled. Of those, 75,000 passed, putting the pass percentage at just under 63%.
The 9th class result followed on 20th August 2025, and the numbers were tougher, as they usually are at that level. Out of 257,445 registered students, 251,395 appeared, and only 113,431 passed giving a pass rate of 45.12%.
Position Holders
BISE Rawalpindi typically announces three position holders per subject group, with names published a day ahead of the general result. Recognition happens formally at the Morgah campus, and in recent cycles the board has also enforced a strict no-grace-marks policy, meaning students falling short in a subject are directed straight to the Second Annual exam rather than being pushed through with adjusted marks, a stricter approach than some boards apply.
Two Different Results, Two Different Weights
These two results don't count the same way. The 10th class result is what colleges actually check for admission. The 9th class result matters too, but mainly because it makes up half of your final matric score once combined with 10th class marks the following year.
Checking Your Result
- Online: www.biserwp.edu.pk, entering your roll number under the relevant class and part

Before Results Are Announced
Every year there's a rush of fake leaked-result posts on social media right before the actual announcement. None of that is real. The board's own website is the only place that matters, and results go live exactly when scheduled.
